The General Terms and Conditions of Purchase apply to every order; Quality Requirement Clauses apply when called out on the order. If a purchase order or subcontract conflicts with a document on this page, the purchase order or subcontract governs.

Request the Supplier Quality Survey (F-032) through the contact below and return it before a purchase order is placed. Where the work requires it, a non-disclosure agreement must be in place before the order is issued. Quality and Purchasing review the survey; an on-site or desktop audit may follow. Approved suppliers are expected to hold on-time delivery at 98 percent or better and no more than two nonconformance reports per month.
Notify your Smith & Co. purchasing representative in writing, within the timelines in HBK 8.4 Section 5.3 and the General Terms and Conditions of Purchase, of any change to your quality system, certification status, location, ownership, processes, or key personnel; any suspect or confirmed nonconformance, counterfeit product, or product safety concern; and any disruption to supply or delivery. Verbal notice is not accepted.
The documents on this page contain no technical data. Drawings, models, specifications, and bills of material are transmitted only through the channel stated on the purchase order and may be used only for the purpose stated in that order. Export-controlled data and Controlled Unclassified Information must be marked, handled, and protected as required, and may not be shared without written authorization from Smith & Co.
